Originally from the Bronx, I left home as a teenager to live a nomadic lifestyle on the road including on Grateful Dead tour, briefly settled in the Pacific Northwest, then returned to New York as a mother.
Between traveling with different subcultures, and experimenting with ways to live and experience as much as possible, I’ve learned a lot about being a human. Despite my non-traditional lifestyle choices and three children at home, I began a career in technology in 1999, working in businesses such as academia, law, and finance, and for companies including General Electric and Google.
In time, I found career success but felt stuck and wanted more out of life and work. With my coach I learned various techniques and methods to recover who and what I was for a fuller life through a meditation practice, dance, and artistic expression.
I am writing a book for professionals who aren’t satisfied with the current status quo, but are unsure of what the next step is to be more fulfilled in life, particularly with regards to their work. Leveraging stories and lessons from my own unique experiences, I am sharing what I have learned about personal transformation and how to be who you really are to reach your potential.
